Shirts, shirts, shirts! Plus insane CD-discount!

Check these out, people!

Many new designs and colors, not to mention the sizes! Thanx to the new DTG-technique, we can now manufacture way cool Desyre-shirts without silly prices.

And here's some samples!

WARNING OF THE NIGHT #1

Front: Nice cover of the band's debut disc, Warning Of The Night on front. Little extra nuances added for the shirt design only.

Back: Back has the spoken words of the Warning-intro printed with cool red and blue text.

WARNING OF THE NIGHT #2

Front: First ever red Desyre-shirt with massive front printing, featuring the logo across the chest and the design from the Warning-digipak's back. Plus a delicious poisonous green Hair Metal Madness at the bottom.

Back: Large Warning Of The Night with Thessalonians 5:2: "For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night."

G.L.A.M. METAL POWER

Front: The band in street-clothes in front of  green brickwall with dripping sprayed letters G.L.A.M. METAL POWER. Too cool, babes! The printing is made to look like distressed for that retro/vintage look.

GLAMTRON / TOO HOT FOR RADIO

Front: Straight from the 80's is the front design of this shirt. Realisticly looking drawn image of the band in a comicbook-like fashion. Cool mountain on the background and new Glamtron-logo with a border.

Back: New (to be released) song "Too Hot For Radio" is featured on the back, with flamy new design.

Second video-blog from the recording sessions.

Rokk on, people!

Indeed we completed the vocal-recordings in week 20. It was a blast, oh yeah!

Our vocal-producer Christian Palin arrived saturday the 15th and we started the sessions about immeditealy. The first song was our lasting-hit-to-be, Dangerous Desyre. Ehh ehh...

After the weekend we continued with the same intensity. Mazi came to the studio after work and left close at night, every night.

No pain, no gain!

Here's some visual treats about our stuff. Until the next time!
(Sorry no subtitles. ENG SUB!)

First video-blog from the recording sessions.

Hellow!

This weekend we, indeed, recorded the drum tracks at the studio and nicely it went.
Here are for your enjoyment and amazement a video of Mazi and Jayce goofing around.

We'll be uploading more of these as the project gets ahead. Which in this case is quite often. Next week the recording continues and it's rock'n roll time!

Remember to comment these, and we'll all have a jolly good time! :P

We are also working on English subtitles. Stay tuned, people! Yee!

And we have started the recordings for the second album!

Yesterday Jayce went and pounded the drums for 7 songs. Seven's one of our number, right? :P Today he and Mazi hits the studio for the rest of the pieces. Here's two pics from yesterday. Rokk on! More to come.

The latest

Okay, we're extremely sorry for the silence in the blog. But without further ado:

We've written about fifteen new pieces and 10 songs have been chosen for the forthcoming album. Pre-production is in progress. Some delay in the studio timetable, though, but what else is new, right? Ehh, ehh...

Our last disc, Warning Of The Night, had nice Glamtron-advert in the booklet which is chosen for the working title. It will most likely be THE title. If we decide otherwise, it will be announced no later than one minute before the actual releasing of the album.

Those lucky ones, who've attended our latest gigs, know already the musical direction we've taken (yeah, we've played some of the new songs live). The band wishes to thank you for the positive feedback. So thanx! ^^
We are happy and (some what) relieved that the fans haven't run away in fear for the new heavier stuff.
We assure you that the new direction is as much for ourselves as it is for you, and it is the natural course for Desyre

And then some merch-related stuff:

Our new shirt-design is selling nicely and the stock is running out. If you want one, be sure to send the order in here. Price is as ridiculous as 17e (incl. shipping).

PARTY SONG-VIDEO

Indeed, we shot a pro-level video for the new "Party Song" (check it out [audio only at the moment] on Myspace) in feb. the 2nd at a studio in Helsinki. It's in the edition at the moment. We were lucky and blessed enough to also have two killer photographers present. This was our first official video shoot and here's a bunch of pixx for you.

Mazi | © Reinikainen

The legendary M. Hyyppä and our trusted S. "Konstaapeli" Reinikainen both took numerous photos of our Motley looking crew. Desyre thanks both of you! Rokk on!

The director M. Kiviharju and the man behind the videocam, M. Rekola, did a splendid job.
We started to work at noon by bringing the drums and stuff in.

Director Kiviharju inspected the different view angles while Rekola put the greenscreen together. After the band got its hair and clothes in line, it was time for the test shootings. Every once in while there was time for some posings as well. And that's the name of the game, people!

It was decided at the beginning that no script was necessary at this time.

Mr. Reinikainen's smoke machine was smokin' (as they say) and the feeling was nice.
But that's all, folks, for now! Let the photos do the talking!

The second album..?

 G-r-r-r-reetings!

It's been a while since stuff has been put here. But no worries, it doesn't mean that we're not active in the band. We certainly are. Yes indeed. You betcha! Ehh ehh...

The next album is on the table. There have been a lot of prayers and conversations about it in the Desyre camp. We have certainly enough new glam-pieces for it. Yes sirree! Let's see... At least ten songs will make it to the disc, including a nice intro (again!), maybe even more. And this time almost the whole band are the composers and this ensures some new colors in the music. We'd like to say that it's all in the hand of God, though. He's the Man!

If you haven't yet, go and listen one of the pre-production-demo at the Myspace. It's called Party Song and it's party-time now, people!

Until the next time, here's some pics for you.
